Santa Marina Villa is committed to data protection and data privacy. With the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) becoming enforceable from 25 May 2018, we have undertaken a GDPR readiness programme to review our entire business, the way we handle data and the way in which we use it to provide our services and manage business operations.

The personal information we collect about you can include Data relating to your identity which can include your name and title, we can also collect any contact details about you which can include address, contact number and email addresses where necessary.

We therefore use this information to provide you with services that you have requested from Santa Marina Villa and may contact you in relation to your account that we have with you as a Customer where necessary and applicable.
Legal basis for processing:
We process personal information on all of our customers to fulfill our contractual requirements, the processing of this personal information is necessary to provide you with services that you receive from Santa Marina Villa.
Who your data is shared with:
To provide you with quotes and services we may on occasion need to share your contact information throughout Santa Marina Villa where necessary and whether it is a requirement that needs to be carried out. Your Contact details will not be passed to outside companies without advising you of this beforehand if this is necessary requirement for the services that you receive from Santa Marina Villa.
Your contact information is kept for the duration of the contract and for the allocated time period after the account is closed with us, as a company we have yearly reviews to remove all personal data from our systems after this time as it will no longer be needed nor a requirement to be kept within the Company as the account is closed and the allocated time period has passed for holding the personal data on file.

We try to meet the highest standards when collecting and using personal information. For this reason, we take any complaints we receive about this very seriously. We encourage people to bring it to our attention if they think that our collection or use of information is unfair, misleading or inappropriate. We would also welcome any suggestions for improving our procedures.
